You're here because they sent you this link themselves, from their own phone. We don't have your number, we didn't go looking for you, and we have no way to reach you unless you decide to tell us. That's the whole reason this is a page and not a text from a company you've never heard of.
What happened
They got a message that didn't sit right, and instead of acting on it they checked it. Rowan has a free tool for exactly that — paste in a text, an email or a link and it says, in plain English, whether it looks like a trick.
Worth saying plainly, because it changes what this conversation is: they spotted it and they checked it. Nobody was fooled and nobody needs minding. What they're asking for is a second pair of eyes on the next one.
What Rowan would actually do
- Read, and only read. Rowan sees transactions through the bank's own connection and can never move, send, or spend a dollar. Neither can you — there is no transfer button anywhere in this product.
- Nothing to install for them. No app, no account, no password to remember. They connect once at their own bank's sign-in screen, on their own phone. After that the only reason they'd hear from us is their own account — if the bank asks them to sign in again, say.
- You get told when something looks wrong — with the reason it spoke up, not just a red flag. Gift-card runs, sudden transfers to somewhere new, the patterns that show up again and again in elder fraud.
- It can be undone. The bank connection is theirs, and it comes back off from the same link that set it up — no call to make, no account to log into, no waiting on us.
Nothing is connected
Opening this link connected nothing. It gives us no access to their accounts and it gives you none either. If they decide they want Rowan watching, they connect their own bank themselves, at their own bank's sign-in screen — you can't do it for them and neither can we. That is a rule, not a setting.
We also won't message them about this. Anything you decide to say to them comes from you, in your own words, the way this link did. If they do connect a bank later, the only texts we ever send them are a hello so they have our number, and then messages about their own account: a connection that needs refreshing, or a payment that didn't go through.
